Abstract
The biopharmaceutical industry is under mounting pressure to accelerate time to market, manage more complex modalities, meet tighter regulatory expectations, and coordinate increasingly distributed manufacturing and CDMO networks. Yet many organizations still manage technology transfer through static documents, tribal knowledge, and manual parameter re-entry, contributing to 18–36 month transfer cycles, avoidable execution risk, and fragmented foundations for AI and advanced analytics.
This white paper introduces Stellix’s Digital CMC and Tech Transfer Maturity Fabric, a practical framework for building a resilient, scalable, and compliant digital tech transfer capability. The Fabric defines six interwoven capability threads: Governance and Risk Management; Product Knowledge Lifecycle and Strategy; Data and Knowledge Foundation; Digital Infrastructure and Integration; Workforce and Digital Culture; and Insights and Advanced Analytics.
Each thread progresses through six maturity levels, from Ad Hoc to Autonomous, giving biopharmaceutical manufacturers, CDMOs, and other life sciences leaders a shared language for assessing current-state readiness, identifying capability gaps, and prioritizing investment.
